Airbridge 2025
Bringing Fumble Free to the Field
What is Airbridge 2025 ?
Airbridge 2025 is a collaborative launch event where Fumble Free First Aid partners with Alliance North and York University’s Search to put our first aid kit into action under real-world conditions.
The event simulates remote rescue scenarios in which stranded hikers require urgent medical supplies but are located in terrain that is challenging to reach quickly. Using drone-based delivery systems, critical supply modules from our kit will be airlifted directly to the site of the simulated emergency.
Why this matters
This simulation goes beyond traditional classroom or hospital testing by creating a stressful, time-sensitive environment that mimics what actually happens in remote emergency situations. It allows us to assess
- How well the kit’s intuitive design performs when opened by untrained rescuers in the field.
- The practicality of modular delivery, where only the relevant supplies (e.g., a bleeding control module) are dispatched to the patient instead of an entire bulky kit.
- The impact of integrating Fumble Free First Aid with cutting-edge SAR technology like drones, which could revolutionize how emergency supplies are deployed in remote or disaster-stricken regions.
Airbridge 2025 is more than a launch—it’s the first real-world trial where Fumble Free First Aid meets the frontier of emergency response innovation.
Stay tuned for more information and results!
